First an electrician then a professional cyclist for 7 years, I was not destined to become a professional cyclist. working the land and even less the vines, it was through encounters and a great opportunity that I was able to create my estate.
The adventure began in 2020 in the cellar of Domaine Des Cotes Rousses, Marielle and Nicolas allowed me to launch an activity. winegrower, merchant/winemaker. I was able to find grapes worked organically and with conviction for several years. Today installed in my cellar in the town of Les Marches, in organic conversion, I strive to work my vines with respect for the soil, plants and surrounding fauna.
Almost all of them work is carried out by hand and I have just purchased a micro tractor for certain tasks. Ditto for the « trading », I only work with organic or conversion producers but above all people who have values similar to mine.
The grape varieties worked are Jacquere, Roussette, Mondeuse, Gamay and Pinot noir. The yeasts are indigenous, the juices are unfiltered. and aging in demi-muids, jars or vats with the aim of preserving the identity of the wine. grape varieties and terroirs. Chaptalization totally prohibited, I have to I have the heart to make wines without inputs but on certain vintages I had to give up and the addition before mixing of s02 never exceeds 2gr/hl.
