A family wine estate of about fifteen hectares, located in Burgundy, in the heart of the Chablis vineyard. Biodynamics and a non-interventionist approach give the estate's wines the particular resonance of their terroirs of origin and the changing character of vintages. WINES Our wines reflect an artisan approach. An approach that determines all our practices, from sorting on the plot to vinification. Whether it is for the Chablis wines produced at the estate, or for the wines from our trade, we strive to analyze and understand each vintage, so that our cuvées are the most accurate expression of it. THE VINES Located in the heart of the Chablis vineyard, our vines are planted around a hill, at the top of which culminates the Château de Béru. Thanks to biodynamics, each of our plots has found its own balance, and claims the particularities of its terroir, from vintage to vintage. VINIFICATION We play with the harvest dates, the pressing cycles or the barreling to accompany the spirit of the vintage. The vinifications are done without input, the aging is long and conducted in accordance with the cycles and the seasons. Since 2012, some cuvées have been bottled without sulphur. THE DOMAIN In 2005, Athénaïs de Béru signed its first vintage at the estate, thus following in the footsteps of its Burgundian predecessors, who since the Middle Ages have made Béru an exceptional estate. WINE TOURISM Built in the heart of the estate's organic vineyards, just a few kilometers from Chablis, the Château de Béru is a historic residence owned by the Athénaïs de Béru family for more than 400 years. With its authentic and cozy guest rooms and gîte, the Château de Béru stands out as the ideal starting point for a cultural and gourmet discovery of the Chablis terroirs. The wines of Athenais The wines of Athénaïs bring together trade cuvées mainly from grape varieties and emblematic terroirs of Yonne. The trading activity has developed in partnership with the producers that the estate supports and support in their organic or even biodynamic approach. While remaining faithful to an authentic expression and without input, the team allows itself a great creative freedom in the vinifications, and the breedings. The wines of Athénaïs are all certified organic from the 2020 vintage.

Un domaine viticole familial d’une quinzaine d’hectares, situé en Bourgogne, au cœur du vignoble chablisien. 
La biodynamie et une approche peu interventionniste confèrent aux vins du domaine la résonance particulière de leurs terroirs d’origine et du caractère changeant des millésimes.

LES VINS
Nos vins sont le reflet d’une démarche d’artisan. Une démarche qui détermine toutes nos pratiques, du tri à la parcelle jusqu’aux vinifications. 
Que ce soit pour les vins de Chablis produits au domaine, ou pour les vins de notre négoce, nous nous efforçons d’analyser et et de comprendre chaque millésime, pour que nos cuvées en soient l’expression la plus juste.

LES VIGNES
Situées en plein cœur du vignoble chablisien, nos vignes sont plantées autour d’une colline, au sommet de laquelle culmine le Château de Béru. 
Grâce à la biodynamie, chacune de  nos parcelles a trouvé son propre équilibre, et revendique les particularités de son terroir, de millésime en millésime.

LES VINIFICATIONS
Nous jouons avec les dates de vendanges, les cycles de pressurage ou l’entonnage pour  accompagner l’esprit du millésime. 
Les vinifications se font sans intrant, les élevages sont longs et conduits dans le respect des cycles et des saisons. Depuis 2012, certaines cuvées sont mises en bouteille sans soufre.

LE DOMAINE
En 2005, Athénaïs de Béru a signé son premier millésime au domaine, s’inscrivant ainsi dans les pas de ses prédécesseurs bourguignons, qui depuis le Moyen-Âge ont fait de Béru un domaine d’exception.

ŒNOTOURISME
Érigé au cœur des vignes bio du domaine, à quelques kilomètres seulement de Chablis, le Château de Béru est une demeure historique détenue par la famille d’Athénaïs de Béru depuis plus de 400 ans. Avec ses chambres d’hôtes et son gîte authentiques et cosy, le Château de Béru s’impose comme le point de départ idéal pour une découverte culturelle et gourmande des terroirs chablisiens.

Les vins d’Athénaïs
Les vins d’Athénaïs réunissent les cuvées de négoce majoritairement issues de cépages et de terroirs emblématiques de l’Yonne.

L’activité de négoce s’est développée en partenariat avec les producteurs que le domaine soutient et un accompagnement dans leur démarche bio, voire biodynamique.

Tout en restant fidèle à une expression authentique et sans intrant, l’équipe s’autorise une très grande liberté créative dans les vinifications, et les élevages. 
Les vins d’Athénaïs sont tous certifiés bio à partir du millésime 2020.
