The Domaine d´Ouréa, created in 2009 by Adrien Roustan, is located in the heart of the Vaucluse department, in the towns of Vacqueyras and Gigondas, in the southern part of the Côtes du Rhône. After wine studies and professional experiences in Burgundy and California, Adrien Roustan took over part of the estate from his grandfather, Raymond Bertrand. From the first year, he converted the vineyard to organic farming and obtained certification in 2012. This change in relationship with nature was obvious to him in order to offer wines that reflect the different terroirs of his vineyard. The harvest is manual throughout the vineyard in order to respect the grapes even in the vat. He is a follower and a fan of manual harvesting, which produces bright, fresh and radiant wines. Agriculture is a work of patience, it took more than 10 years to put nature back in motion and achieve a biological balance in the vineyard and in the wines. The switch to Bio-Dynamie is for Adrien Roustan the continuity of his philosophy and he decided in 2020 to convert his domain into Bio-Dynamie.

Le Domaine d’Ouréa, créé en 2009 par Adrien Roustan, se situe au coeur du département du Vaucluse, sur les communes de Vacqueyras et Gigondas, dans la partie méridionale des Côtes du Rhône. Après des études viticoles et des expériences professionnelles en Bourgogne et en Californie, Adrien Roustan, reprend une partie du domaine de son grand père, Raymond Bertrand. Dès la première année, il convertit le vignoble en agriculture biologique et obtient la certification en 2012. Ce changement de rapport avec la nature était pour lui une évidence afin de proposer des vins qui reflètent les différents terroirs de son vignoble.
Les vendanges sont manuelles sur tout le vignoble afin de respecter le raisin jusque dans la cuve. Il est un adepte et un inconditionnel de la vendange manuelle qui permet de donner des vins lumineux, frais et rayonnants.
L’Agriculture est un travail de patience, il a fallu plus de 10 ans pour remettre la nature en marche et atteindre un équilibre biologique dans le vignoble et les vins. Le passage en Bio-Dynamie est pour Adrien Roustan la continuité de sa philosophie et il a décidé en 2020 de convertir son domaine en Bio-Dynamie.
