How much fun are Pet-Nats! Every year more and more of these colourful, natural fizzy drinks come onto the market, with the style being refined and improved all the time. This pink pet-nat from young Riverland producer Delinquente is made from Vermentino with a splash of Nero d'Avola and is a great introduction to the style. It's bright, full of fresh fruit, great fun to drink and very fairly priced. Vermentino and nero d’Avola combine for this pretty pet nat. A rose style. Why drink pedestrian, homogenised sparkling wines and imported yawn-fest Prosecco at the same price when you can drink Aussie pet nats of this calibre? Don’t!Ripper drink. Summery in essence, red berries, a squirt of lime juice, some Campari-like characters, sunny fruit, frisky fizz, tart and refreshing and interesting to boot. It ticks the boxes then scribbles them out and puts a big ‘shit yeah’ all over the ledger. It’s not complicated to like this, it’s got drinkability in spades. Enough said." - Mike Bennie (The Wine Front)
