This Pet Nat 💙🥂🤤 Last night Quentin at La Cave de Belleville poured us a glass of Jean Boa, a 2005 Pet Nat méthode ancestrale, a blend of Menu Pineau and Chardonnay. It was love at first sip. With notes of wood, smoke, yeast, bread, butter, apricot, honey, pumpkin sweets. A bit oxidative, high acidity and sugar but low alcohol feeling, with a very pleasant and subtle bubble and lactic on the mouth. Really nice! It is made by the family Domaine Mérieau, in Loire.
