Lovely light, translucent ruby-red crispy Ganevat. Made from old vine Gamay he buys from a friend in Beaujolais, blended with Poulsard and other Jura cepages. Very light CO2 fizz when I opened it, but by no means a pétillant. Very open-charactered wine, uncomplicated, joyful. A fruity hint of prunes and cherry, some spice. Hardly any tannins, this wine is very easy to drink. Delightful!
