The 2021 Perfranco is a Rosato Frizzante obtained exclusively from the variety Salamino di Santa Croce. The vines grow on light clay and slate and are on average 45 years old. The variety brings a decent basic acidity, which also perfectly translates the filigree aromas into the pink interpretation. After initial vinification and six months of aging in concrete eggs, Gianluca injects the wine with a shot of sweet must reserve (instead of sugar and pure yeasts) and ferments it a second time in bottle, which takes another year or so. For sale, all wines are not disgorged, so cloudiness is completely normal. The wine shows razor sharp, puristic and very vital. Aromas of pink grapefruit, white flowers and salt dominate. Elegant on the palate with tight structure and texture. Finishes subtly but emphatically. Great!
Metodo ancestrale fine ed elegantissimo. Sentori di fragola di bosco, pompelmo e note di frutta secca tostata, che gli regalano sapiditĂ . Fresco. Ottimo rapporto qualitĂ -prezzo.
Naso un poâ selvatico, in bocca attacca secco per poi finire con una leggera abboccatura. Un filo di ossidazione. Frutta gialla, arancia bionda. Eccellenza bevuta!
