Nice and fresh orange wine from Macabeu grapes. Notes of peach and herbs. A hint of nice volatile acids. Dry and fruity in the mouth with nice acidity and some tannins. Really enjoy this one and cellar 9+ in general :-)

Cartoixà Vermell is a rare local mutation of Cartoixà with a distinctive characteristic; despite being a white grape, the reddish color of the skin gives the wine an orange pigment when exposed to skin contact. The grape also tends to be spicier than its ancestor; we find it elegant in a rustic way.
