VINO BIANCO MACERATO le 3 2018 Garganega @insolentevini ——————————————— Biodynamic philosophy in 60-year-old vines, 11 days of #skincontact, resting on the fine lees in cement then exhausted wood for another 10 months. It opens slowly with aromas of hay, wildflowers, ripe fruit, chamomile, honey and volcanic stone, but also citrus, and then that note of loose earth rich in minerals. A nice balance in the mouth between acidity, flavor and glycerine reveals a slender but not weak body, fading into earth moistened with dew. A strong local wine personalities, able to move and also involve less attentive. Interpretative, tasting and communicative freedom, this is the real revolution brought about by these winemakers, who, as visionaries, have not compromised with industrial standards, but who aim to be protagonists of their territory and their future.
