“Mare e Foresta” - 2019 - Valentina Passalacqua 👁: Peach jus. Cloudy! 👃🏻: Plumstrees in autumn, or like Valentina would put it, smells like forest! 👅: However i Dont totally agree with her on the taste (of the sea) there’s definitely some salty/mineralness going on here (like in the Calcarius-collection) but this is warmer with hints of strawberrries, first sunwarm ones...then green ones on the ascendant! Nice zesty frizz! 🍇: Pinot Grigio 🌳: 15 year old vines. 80 hectares (whole vinyard) 🏔: Kimmeridgian Limestone 🗺: Arpicena - Puglia. Alt: 150-200m. 🌦: Lush forest (rainfall) & Salty breeze from the Adriatic Sea. Harvest: August/September (manual). Fermentation: 4 days of maceration. Aging: Steel. Filtered: ❌ Clarified: ❌ Sulphites: <10mg/L. Alcohol: 10,5% Organic - Biodynamic - Traditional Bought @ “Vin de Table”, Frederikssundsvej 33 - Nørrebro (Copenhagen).
