The vineyards in which our winery currently works are scattered throughout the Terra Alta (Gandesa, Corbera, Horta de Sant Joan, Batea and Pinell de Brai). They consist of small plots leased between 20-40 years. In 2022 apart from this, 5 ha of vineyards were planted in El Pinell de Brai, the idea is to be able to gradually replace the leases and gradually implant our wines with our own hectares. Therefore these last 5 ha are and will be the heart of our project and the future of our wines. We are working with a wide variety of varieties, most of them typical of our area. White Garnacha, Macabeo, Parellada, Muscatel, Hairy Garnacha, Red Garnacha, Cariñena, Tempranillo and Merlot. We seek the maximum adaptation of the grapes to the "terroir" and promote biodiversity. That is why we are starting a varietal improvement project with seed sowing for this purpose. Regenerative agriculture is worked, the lands are incorporated into organic farming with an ecological certificate by the CCPAE as of 2024. Soil regeneration is worked through the contribution of organic matter, promotion of the appearance of microorganisms in the soil, vegetable covers, loosening and support irrigation in times of drought. We are in communion with some basic concepts of biodynamics, although we like to remain flexible when it comes to working and we do not look for certificates or marketing but to work our land with respect to our ancestors and the environment, common sense and consistency. We seek to increase biodiversity, experiment and share to improve the quality of the soil and the quality of life in the vineyards, which ultimately have an impact on our wines. The farms are protected against attacks by wild boar and roe deer and at the same time allow sheep to graze, helping to close the circle.
