About
4 LEG is cuvée of 4 white grapes with an emphasis on local varieties grown in our 4 vineyards. The label features a four-legged bird drawn by our son Maks. 4 LEG is a selection cuvée or blend of 4 grapes, with the emphasis on local varieties (Malvasia, Pinela and Rebula), while Chardonnay adds a regal character. The colour is a light golden yellow. Fruity notes such as pear, apple and quince predominate on the nose, followed by aromas of sweet hay, jujube and nuts, with a hint of acacia flower in the background. The wine is fresh on the palate, with good acidity and a hint of bittersweet caramel. Slightly tannic as a result of maceration, which further accentuates the body, the wine has a long finish.
