From soil of marl and sandstone, this stunning white is aged for 36 months in acacia barrels, then fermented in concrete tanks delivering a very clean, mineral complex wine. A fading aroma of smoke and flavours of lemon, orange, apple, cedar wood with beautifully balanced acidity and smooth tannins. As far as orange wine goes this Malvazija is very accesssible. The Klinec family have been making wines since 1918 in a Mediterranean climate in which figs, cherries and peaches as well as olives grow. The vineyards make up 6 hectares and located in an ideal micro climate where the family respectfully farm by biodynamic methods.
