On Thurs 19th Nov we’ll be moving lock, stock and barrel to The Apple Market on Barrack Street to create our traditional Parisian-style street festival. The event starts at 5pm and runs till late. Its a really informal event. There’ll be some seating, but nothing formal.
You’ll receive your ticket and a glass on arrival which will entitle you to a flight of 5 of different Nouveau, a plate of charcuterie and cheese and a hot dish. We will also have live music.
We’ll be pouring wines from some of the most respected Beaujolais growers (Foillard, Lapalu, Dufaitre and Vionnet) to taste and compare different winemaker and village styles. Beaujolais Nouveau night has become one of the hottest events on the Parisian wine calendar. Basically the idea is to recreate a vibe reminiscent of a Beaujolais Nouveau night spent wandering the streets of Paris going from wine bar to wine bar.
