Fattoria Al Fiore

We are Fattoria, a farm that has been producing wine since 2015 in the city of Kawasaki, in the Miyagi prefecture.

At the foot of the Zao Federation, this city is very calm, peaceful, and comfortable. Fields and rice paddies, mountains and lakes, small shopping streets, and warm people. I am truly happy when people who visit me feel the kindness of this city. "AL FIORE" is the name of an Italian restaurant opened in Sendai City in 2002 by Representative Hirotaka Meguro. The word AL FIORE, which means "single flower" in Japanese, signifies that the single flower that captivates you will eventually scatter its seeds and one day, like a blooming garden, will spread to the happiness of more and more people. The desire is there. The activity of our winery, "Fattoria AL FIORE," is the first step in laying the foundation for the "blooming garden," which is the next stage of AL FIORE, which began with the restaurant. I would like to be someone who can support the activities of wonderful friends who have connected me through winemaking. In 2014, the area around Adachi, Kawasaki-cho, where the first field was reclaimed, was abandoned and depopulated. Could we make it a place where people gather? So I opened a farm and started planting grapevines. Many people with aspirations come together, and everyone creates things while receiving nature's blessings equally, creating a situation where joy is shared with more people. This feeling is the foundation of our activities.
