We are united by a passion for winemaking, starting with the vineyard, where we devote our utmost care and dedication. We apply the same tenacity and sense of responsibility to cultivating the land and caring for the grapes, to produce natural, authentic, and sincere wines that reflect the virtues and qualities of the land where we grew up. We consider ourselves careful custodians of the beauty and nature that surrounds us, so in 2015 we embarked on the journey to organic certification.
We realized that our families and children would grow up among the vineyards we cultivate, and this gave us even more motivation and enthusiasm to safeguard our land, and this was just the beginning...
All our wines are made from grapes we grow ourselves, respecting the balance of the vineyard, demanding nothing more than what the vines provide, and never forcing the plants. We use spontaneous fermentation, using their own indigenous yeasts, without the use of synthetic additives, with low or no sulfites. The wines are bottled unfiltered. Our philosophy: we put our care, our hands, the grapes, and NOTHING ELSE into our wine!
Our wines perfectly represent who we are and what we do. They embody our thoughts, our origins, and our challenges; they reflect the land, its history, and the craftsmanship with which they are made. We want to pursue our ideas and convey them with determination and courage, and to bottle only the fruit of our land. Andrea Brunelli
In 1990, our father, the seventh of seven brothers, purchased land in Gargagnago, a small valley surrounded by the estates of the Serego Alighieri counts, descendants of Dante Alighieri. We are in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region, immersed in the beauty of our land.
Behind us to the north lies the Lessinia mountains, with their green pastures. To the west lies Lake Garda, whose reflections give us a mild climate. To the east lies the Soave white wine region, and to the south lies our beloved Verona, the cradle of romance, birthplace of Romeo and Juliet. From here, in these lands, we began to do what we do best: passionately cultivate the land, restoring the stone walls as they once were, to plant our beloved vines.
Corte Bravi was founded in 2011, and that's where our challenge began... From our certified organic grapes, we produce natural wines. Since 2019, we've been part of the Vinnatur association, small artisan winemakers like us who have established strict rules to certify their wines as natural, free from chemicals. Since 2020, we're also happy to announce that all our electricity comes from renewable sources. Our photovoltaic system wasn't enough, so thanks to ForGreen, we're supplied with energy produced by other local farms. We continue to pursue these ideas with determination, thinking about our children's future.
