Un luogo accogliente e cordiale, accolto dentro mura storiche proprio nel centro di Cortona. Cibo ottimo tra tradizione e rivisitazioni estrose ed equilibrate. Una carta dei vini nutrita e raffinata. Personale competente e profondamente gentile. Consigliatissimo

May be the best place in Umbria. Arnaldo is also a Winemaker. I strongly recommend both restaurant and vineyard. The food is simple and delicate. Trust him for the wine. He has a maceration (Cibino) I could drink every day. The wine list is amazing (a choice of Domaine des miroirs, for instance, at a cheaper price than you can find in France) You can’t go to Cortona and miss this place. Except on Monday when they’re closed.

We discovered pane e vino the last day of our vacation and it was bittersweet. On the one hand it was the perfect closure of our holidays, on the other hand we wished we had discovered it at the beginning and if we would we would have eaten here every single day. The brushetta’s are splendid, the primi e segundi are piece by piece sublime and the tastefullness of each course is just simply perfection. Combined with Arnaldo’s passion for the best cuisine and wine pairing this was truly a never to be forgotten wine and dining experience. Arnaldo’s own wines are also amazing natural explosions in your mouth. And each wine comes with a story that elevates the whole taste even further. Thank you Arnaldo and team for an amazing end of our vacation. Next time when we’re in Cortona, you’ll see our and our kids faces every day ;-).

Manger, le soir, sur la terrasse donnant à même la place principale de Cortona, des pici alle molliche arrosés d'un vin blanc de maturation produit par le patron de la Trattoria....un régal. Le raisin est vendangé en 3 fois pour avoir un peu d'acidité et un peu de maturité. L'équilibre est très bon. Le patron parle avec plausir de ses vinifications. Les plats sont savoureux de l'entrée au dessert.
