Podere Erica is a project that was born in 2010, the Dempsey family and the oenologist Marco Giordano decide to start making wine in the Chianti Classico area. Right from the start Marco's idea was to work well, cleanly, use biodynamic practices, enhance the terroir and preserve the territory. Now the company has 2 HA of vineyards in production, the grapes are Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Moscato. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in the cellar, the processes of transformation and evolution of the wines are carefully followed and accompanied until bottling. In addition to the production of wine, the company has an oil production, accommodation and breeding of mangalitza pigs, donkeys and chickens.
