Jul 2024Very bad experience. Low level of English, lots of misunderstandings when ordering. Eventually I’ve received smth I couldn’t eat due to allergens and all I got was « we are sorry ». It doesn’t matter if the wine list Is good or not, but it’s just utterly disappointing. And nobody even tried to improve the situation. We are tourists, we ll consume this all. Sad.
Mar 2023Veramente non capisco da addetto ai lavori i commenti positivi per questa location a cui sono arrivato tramite questa guida. Dove sarebbero i vini naturali a parte Calabretta e altre due o tre etichette ormai diventate quasi da grande distribuzione. Questo l’appunto sulla carta. Poi nell’aprire aprire la bottiglia hanno spezzato il tappo… cambiata la bottiglia? No neanche per idea. Sul cibo sorvoliamo. Anzi precisiamo che ho mandato indietro un crudo che crudo non era ma marinato(!!!bastava scriverlo sul menù!!!) e marinato male, una cheviche alla cipolla stanca una tartare praticamente cucinata ed un salmone strappato dalla sua lisca. Poi ha fatto la stessa fine il polpo che si era dimenticato di essere croccante che aveva ben altre consistenze. Per la cronaca mi hanno fatto pagare entrambi i piatti!!! Non è la prima volta che questa guida mi delude. Sta diventando una Tripadvisor per improvvisati del vino??? Spiace

Nov 2021Dans une rue charmante de Ortigia, à l’écart de l’agitation touristique. L’accueil parfait. Nous avons dégusté à l’apéro un délicieux pecorino frito avec un ketchup betterave grenade au top!!! Puis en plat Anellettialla parmigiana parfumée et Lattuchedda di manzo, roquette et grana, pleins de saveurs de sucs, avec des câpres et servi avec des pommes de terre rissolées qui m’ont rappelées celles de ma grand mère italienne. La carte des vins en nature, italien et en particulier sicilien est conséquente !!! Ça vaut le détour.
Sep 2021I ate there today. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing, therefore you cannot really enjoy their food selection of wines. Go for a wine to Enoteca Solaria and afterwords just look for some Italian authentic place instead of Bistrot La Vin. Raisin please take off this restaurant from the list and let's find real good places.
