My Italian friend from Ripalimosani in the little known region of Molise in southern Italy introduced me to this unexpectedly delicious Riesling from Vinica, a 10 year old winery. 20 hectares of organic vines and 30k bottles annually growing Riesling, Tintilia, amongst others. Altitude of 550 to 750m. Spontaneous fermentation, no yeast. Low sulphur and neither filtered nor clarified.
