Le vigne sono situate negli impervi territori del Collio, a due passi dai confini con la Slovenia e precisamente a San Floriano del Collio. Queste vigne, di oltre 60 anni di età, affondano le loro radici sulla così detta Ponka, che è il tipico terreno del Carso composto principalmente da marne e sedimenti marini. Tutti i vigneti poggiano su terreni ricchi di argilla e sono allevati secondo pratiche biologiche. Fermentazione naturale con lieviti indigeni, in assenza di filtrazioni e stabilizzazioni e con una lungo contatto con le bucce. Il vino riposa in legno per qualche mese, arricchendosi di note dolci e morbide.
