Cantina Mezzacane - Eugenio Barbieri, Caterina e Andrea Vistarini
We have set ourselves goals that concern our emotional sphere, even before material. It is not possible to think of a good wine without this being an "ethical" wine; the good is not expressed in the mouth, but in the spirit. Perhaps, it is no coincidence that alcohol, due to its ethereal nature, is called spirit.
Ethics is our behavior.
In moments of joy and discouragement, our behavior will have to instill trust in those who want to place a bottle of wine on their table and decide to share it with their loved ones. The act of introducing food into the body is the most intimate gesture that each individual can perform. Think about it.
We consider wine as a living organism, since it is the son of living organisms.
We imagine him with the heart of man, of which he is a creature, and with the skeleton of the vine, of which he is the son.
We have no certifications that attest to our natural philosophy. But more than ever everything that is done from the vineyard to the cellar is 100% done in respect of nature, of balance without the use of added sulphites and products that can alter the natural evolution of the wine.
