La Bettigna - Nicola Lazzoni ed Emilio Falcinelli
La Bettigna comes to life from a small vineyard of about one hectare, an expanse of Vermentino grapes located in the heart of the Colli di Luni denomination, on the border between Liguria and Tuscany, a few km from the sea. Founded in 2009, the company produces about 6000 bottles a year, followed with artisanal, attentive and passionate care. A work aimed at the creation of a genuine and characteristic wine, unmistakably linked to the land of origin, respectful of nature. We are convinced that wine can only be the result of what is harvested in the vineyard, a heritage that it would be wrong to distort with disproportionate interventions in the cellar. We have therefore chosen to minimize treatments in the vineyard (no systemic products, small quantities of copper and sulfur), practicing green manure or natural grassing between the rows as needed, without any use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides. . After the harvest, no additives, if not a moderate use of sulphites.
