Aspro Potamisi is a completely different proposition to the dominance of the nervous Assyrtiko in the Cyclades islands. More round, mild, lower in acidity but with a surprising combination of ripe pineapple, quince and a subtle dry fruitiness. The lower acidity is balanced by the play of the slight tannic mouthfeel and the extremely salty finish. An absolutely gastronomic wine, special, with amazing depth and texture that highlights the richness and maturity that Tinos gives to its wines.
