The organic Mavrodaphne “Monabeles” of Evriviadis Sklavos belongs to its own special class. Muscular and strong, -how could it be otherwise with a yield of 300kg/ha- it is at the same time perfectly likeable and inevitably attractive. Power and concentration don't violently assault the mouth but build gradually, letting elegance slip away alongside the high-frequency vibrations and tensions. It is perhaps Evriviadis' most iconic wine, the first attempt to produce a dry Mavrodaphne in Greece in 1996.
