Weinbau Lardot

We are Philip & Rosalie Lardot and we farm 5 hectares of vines on the steep slopes of the Moselle Valley. Many of them are in historic sites that are rapidly being abandoned and forgotten due to their inability to keep up with viticultural industrialization. Farming these vineyards by hand is a very labour-intensive task, but also incredibly rewarding. We feel there is a certain beauty to doing things the way they have been done for centuries.

Our wines are the result of conscientious vineyard work and a patient, low-intervention approach in the cellar, leading to the purest expressions of our single vineyard sites.

We're happy to welcome you to our cellar to taste current releases and perhaps from a few barrels as well. We offer this by appointment only and charge a fee of €20 per person. Vineyard tours are available for an additional fee.
