Crisp & Fresh; great match with Thai Isaan food

8.6 / $23 / zero / super bright, dry Riesling. Crisp green apples, with a sharp, but balanced amount of volatile acidity. Not overly aggressive, and no one in their right mind would characterize the acidity as a fault. It speaks to the terroir with much authority. I would rate higher, but subjectively, it's not my favorite grape or style. I do recognize that it's a bottle made with care and love from field to bottle.

Excellent. Flowery and fresh, pear, pineapple. Great acidity. Clean wine with no funky notes. Not light bodied as typical Riesling. I loved it

Monsenheimer Riesling UngeschWeflt 2015

Oaked unfiltered unfined no added sulphur Riesling for a reasonable price (13€ @my natural wine dealer). This is clean wine, no funky socks, cheese, goat running around this bottle. Tomatillo, grapefruit, honey, cucumber seeds, passion fruit. Quite full due to some maceration and oak. Juicy acidity. Cooked mango, pine nuts. High volumetric flowrate! Probably wouldn't be able to pinpoint the grape variety due to native yeast and oak.
