La Sénéchalière

Established since 1980 in Saint Julien de Concelles, Marc Pesnot is at the head of 13hectares of vines. Only two grape varieties are represented: Melon de Bourgogne and Folle Blanche (part of which is in their seventies). In the 1990s, Marc had the opportunity to taste the wines of Marcel Lapierre, Pierre Overnoy ... nothing will be the same as before! He then decided to make a major change, his first 100% natural wines were released in 2001. Therefore, the vines are worked without chemistry, the grapes are picked by hand (in two passes to ensure perfect maturity), quality takes precedence over quantity. There is no addition of sugar, artificial yeast, or sulfur.
