Coming from a family of peasant winegrowers in the Costières de Nîmes, Thierry Forestier first tried his hand at a computer career but he was overtaken by the desire to work the land and the vines and created his wine estate in 2004, Mont de Marie, in Souvignargues in the Gard, 20 kilometers from Nîmes, facing the Cévennes. Today, he owns 12 hectares of vines on a soil of sandy-clayey sandstone with spongy marls that offer saline, mineral and vertical. Its wines are without inputs and without chemicals.
