Château Beauséjour - Manu, Victor & Camille Dupuy

Our family has been making wine the same way for over a century, that is, without chemicals, "just like my grandfather did," said Alain Dupuy in 1995 when his son Gérard took over the estate and applied for organic certification by Ecocert.

The last four generations have succeeded one another in the pursuit of excellence, which today is reflected in our choice to embrace biodynamic principles. Passionate about wine, his three children, Manu, Victor, and Camille, continue this tradition. In the vineyards, no pesticides or herbicides are used, only natural fertilizers; biodynamic herbal teas, such as nettle and horsetail, are sprayed. Attention is paid to rainwater management, the biodiversity of the flora and fauna, and the overall living environment. We utilize research from Génodics to enhance the plant's natural defenses; this type of care is akin to quantum medicine and sends sound frequencies into the vineyards, based on the Earth's frequencies. The winemaking takes place at Château Beauséjour in Puisseguin (33). These are wines made by the winemakers. Characterful, full-bodied, tannic, and warm wines. The barrels are stored in the old cellar of the Carthusian monastery. For 11 years, we have been producing sulfite-free wines, made from a rigorous selection of individual vineyard plots.
