Our credo? Let's act on our landscape, respect it, enhance it, and the essence of this land will reward us!
That is why we are convinced that it is at the boundary between the Wild and Agriculture that the terroir can express itself, that it gives its substance.
We chose a place where the forest is never far away. We also work to ensure that trees reclaim their place in agricultural land, within the crops themselves, by planting them in the heart and around the plots, but also by allowing those that naturally establish themselves to return.
We also sow eleven forage species within our rows of vines. The aim is both to nourish our soil, improve its permeability, and promote biodiversity.
We work on a five-hectare plot located in Périgord Pourpre where our Sémillon, Sauvignon, Riesling, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grape varieties mingle.
Our vines are beautiful, mature vines, aged between sixty and eighty years, with low yields. A few, more vigorous, are ten to twenty years old. All have been cultivated organically for many years.
The wines are made as naturally as possible, using indigenous yeasts without fining or filtration, with little or no sulfites depending on the vintage.
We have chosen to favour natural containers for most of our winemaking: stoneware jars for white wines and old oak barrels for red wines.
Our different cuvées reflect our winemaking choices, which we strive to make the grapes shine. Whole-cluster and destemmed maceration for the red cuvées, direct pressing and short whole-cluster maceration for the whites.
We always strive for freshness and fruitiness in our wines. Depending on the vintage, more delicate and complex notes are also present. We love these wines. We make them to share with you, hoping they bring you as much joy as we had making them.
