Supported by Jean-Paul Aubineau, I was able to buy and vinify my first grapes with the help of friends and family. Passionate about organic, natural, and living wines, I immediately embraced this approach: manual harvesting and destemming, foot treading, winemaking without additives, and bottling without fining or filtration, thus favoring "gentle" methods as much as possible. After nine years of research, I was able to establish myself by taking over Bruno Courait's organic vineyard on January 1, 2020. My estate is located in Julienne, Charente (registered office and address in Graves Saint Amant), and comprises 11.4 hectares dedicated to Cognac production and 1.4 hectares for my natural wine cuvées (VSIG). As some vines are very young, I continue to purchase organic grapes still on the vine. Treatments are based on copper and sulfur (supplemented by citrus essential oils and plant extracts). Soil work is mechanized, animal traction will be tested in 2022. Gentle pruning in simple Guyot Poussard is carried out by me as well as most of the manual work.
