L’epicourchois

Luc PERCHER, winemaker in Cour-Cheverny since 2005, takes care of his 9ha of vines. This atypical vineyard is made up mainly of old vines mainly from mass selections with no less than ten different grape varieties. Some are rare or modest such as: Romorantin, Menu-Pineau, Gamay Fréaux, and Chaudenay. Luc is committed to the preservation of this biological heritage. Soil maintenance, through superficial working of the soil (hilling, stripping, scratching) and the establishment of controlled natural grassing, participate in the management of the vineyard in organic and biodynamic agriculture. These practices respectful of the Earth, Plants and the Environment support the development of biodiversity and preserve the terroirs. The philosophy in the cellar, minimalist on the interventions gives pure and lively wines that reflect the grape varieties and their terroirs. This work and these commitments are recognized and certified by the BIO and Déméter labels.
