Located in Trénal , in the south of Revermont (Jura), this estate was created in 2009. Eric Thill, originally from Alsace, and his wife Bérengère settled on this land out of passion, starting with just a few hectares to reach today an area of about 6 hectares .
The estate is distinguished by a deep commitment to the environment:
Organic Certification: The vineyard has been certified in organic agriculture (Ecocert) since 2015.
Biodynamic approach: The estate follows the principles of biodynamics (more recently Demeter certified) to promote soil life.
The vines, some of which are over 50 years old, flourish in soils typical of the region: marl (grey, red, blue, and yellow) and limestone scree. The estate cultivates the emblematic grape varieties of the Jura:
White wines: Chardonnay and Savagnin.
Reds: Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau.
In the cellar, the work is minimally interventionist in order to preserve the purity of the fruit, with the use of indigenous yeasts for fermentations and doses of sulfur reduced to a minimum.
No rose wines at the moment.
