Certified organic since 1980 and biodynamic since 1985, he now cultivates six hectares of old vines around Lantignié, on pink granite soils. Planted at high density and facing north, at nearly 400 meters altitude, they give rise to deep, concentrated wines imbued with freshness.
Deeply committed to biodiversity, Christian fosters a vibrant ecosystem where vines, fruit trees, and shrubs coexist. Soil cultivation is limited and carried out primarily with the help of his two horses. Copper and sulfur are used sparingly, in favor of plant-based preparations that naturally strengthen the vines.
In the winery, whole bunches of Gamay grapes ferment in concrete vats. The wine is then aged in old barrels and bottled without any additives.
