Aurélien Lefort

A first visit to the Beaux-Arts did not destine Aurélien Lefort to the vineyard ... but a series of encounters and discoveries, the emotions which resulted from them, push him to make his first wine experiences in the Loire, with Michel Augé, at the Domaine des Maisons Brûlées. It was in 2011, after taking part in the harvest at Patrick Bouju's, that the Auvergne appeal began. He moved there with his family and quickly recovered a few plots, some abandoned, some damaged by chemicals. Aurélien works, with respect, passion and determination, to give them the life they deserve. Based near Madriat, he is now happy to evolve in the heart of nature, continuing to defend a delicate and meticulous approach, in his vines as well as in the cellar. This work of goldsmith, personal and touching gives birth to true “author wines”, rare, striking, full of quiet strength ... From his time at the Fine Arts, Aurélien has kept an assertive artistic sensibility, and it is he who draws each of his labels.
