"Le puit des moines". Moenchborn is a Lieu-Dit located under the slopes of the Grand Cru Praelatenberg on the banks of a river originating from the Haut Koenigsbourg mountain. As it's name suggests, it was the gathering place for monks and their horses to drink during the days of work on Praelatenberg. Moenchborn is the fruit of a vineyard planted on gneissic alluvium from the massif Praelatenberg.
