Jul 2026New Forest Bistro is an absolute revelation. The music selection alone sets it apart — the playlist is transcendent, showing an otherworldly taste that elevates the entire atmosphere. The interior design is richly exotic, full of character and far-flung charm. The food is simply outstanding. The steak and the sea bass were both authentic, incredibly tender, and bursting with fresh, natural flavour. What truly blew us away was the wine experience: the owner personally selected a flight of Chinese wines for us, full of style and remarkable potential. The wines from Ningxia, Shandong, and Sichuan were a genuine eye-opener — each telling a different story of Chinese terroir. After dinner indoors, we moved to the outdoor terrace and settled into the blissful quiet of a summer night, sipping fine wine. It felt uncannily like being in Munich — that same unhurried, serene summer evening magic. An unforgettable evening from start to finish. --- Das New Forest Bistro ist eine echte Entdeckung. Schon die Musikauswahl ist absolut außergewöhnlich — von einem fast überirdischen Geschmack, der die ganze Stimmung veredelt. Das Interieur ist wunderschön exotisch gestaltet, voller Charakter und fernwehschöner Details. Das Essen war hervorragend: Das Steak und der Wolfsbarsch waren authentisch, butterzart und voller frischem, köstlichem Aroma. Was uns jedoch wirklich umgehauen hat, war das Weinerlebnis. Der Chef persönlich hat für uns eine Auswahl chinesischer Weine zusammengestellt — stilvoll, ausdrucksstark und voller Potenzial. Die Weine aus Ningxia, Shandong und Sichuan haben mir regelrecht die Augen geöffnet; jede Flasche erzählte ihre eigene Geschichte. Nach dem Abendessen drinnen zog es uns nach draußen auf die Terrasse, wo wir die stille, wohltuende Sommernacht bei einem Glas Wein genossen. Es fühlte sich tatsächlich an wie in München — dieselbe entspannte, zauberhafte Sommerabendstimmung. Ein rundum perfekter Abend.
