Aglianico Barbera - Campania
"The sadness of summer that is going away". PASHKA ’2016 @casebianche Torchiara (Sa). Refermented from Barbera and Aglianico (50/50). From Monte Baldo to Cilento, northern Barbera, southern Aglianico, fresh Monte Veronese from Lessinia 30 days of maturing and southern ancestral, combination of cheese and wine. The dairy notes of milk, cream, yogurt, fresh butter and fresh aromatic herbs intersect in the wine in a combination that immediately brings joy and good humor. From 70-year-old vines, moderately carbonic, with a still vinous and herbaceous scent, pomegranate and violets, drawn acidity, a crude but engaging tannin with a large free-range and genuine bubble that cleans and degreases. Soft, fresh, clean and smooth touch, sapid and tapered, with a clear, juicy and elegant aromatic slant with a bitter aftertaste. Simple wine but not trivial, immediate but not obvious, honest and with character, only 2000 bottles. Consumed (so to speak) 🤔🤤with Lana Del Rey and its elegant, sensual and exciting "Summertime Sadness". https://youtu.be/TdrL3QxjyVw
