Prix de la bouteille : 22 EUR
Dark deep ruby colour. Violets, blackberry, plum, ripe cherry and a herbal note on the nose. Full bodied with nice acidity and velvety tannins. Complex and mouth filling wine with a long finish. Try it with roasted beef, rabbit stew, veal, lamb chops. Made from Prokupac grape that is believed to be one of the oldest grape varieties to be found in Serbia dating back to the Middle Ages. Harvest by hand, fermentation by native yeasts, aging in Burgundy barrique, no filtration, no oenological products added, doses of sulfite less than 25 mg/liter. The name of the wine refers to a Serbian tradition. Slava (Serbian: Слава, meaning 'Glory, Celebration') is a tradition of the ritual of glorification of one's family's patron saint. Crafted by Estelle and Cyrille Bongiraud (winemakers from Burgundy) on a Serbian terroir. Rogljevo, Negotinska Krajina, eastern Serbia
