The most beautiful magenta. Minimally volatile with only a whisper of berries and cream on the nose. The front of the palate is deceivingly basic (pH-wise), as if it is just there to wash down your steak dinner... but then you are hit with a tartness and complexity that nobody saw coming. Bottom line: fantastic table wine!
