The color is a black cherry red Jell-O cup. It smells like cherry medicine but then sweetens into a Maraschino cherry with a hint of smoke at the end of the nose. This wine drinks like semi-sweet cranberry but also keeps to it’s cherry nose in taste. Medium acidity softens out and medium-high tannins coat the roof of the mouth for a pleasant finish.
