Louis Terral 'Marianne' Gamay, 2018 Vin De France, France Pound for Pound one of the best Natural wines I've had this year. Big call, I know, and I don't say this lightly. I recently held a Natural Wine Masterclass in the Bar and out of an immaculate line up, this guy stood head and shoulders above everyone else, apart from Beru Chablis. This is very ethereal, wet granite, earth, red berries, dried violets and spice. Theres a real sense of purity on the palate with a long and sustained drive of structure and flavour. Look, it's unreal Gamay. Get around it before its all gone!
