Frustrated by the lack of reasonably priced natural wine. Dr. Quinn utilised his skills in organisational development to focus on reducing environmental impact from wine production by working exclusively with organic farmers on California’s Central Coast, who are committed to organic practices and employ dry farming when possible. Additionally, Quinn works in a facility with organic water recycling and filtration. By substantially limiting wastewater, using lighter-weight packaging, consolidating overseas shipments, and utilising more epoxy tanks, Dr. Quinn has done everything possible to create an economically viable natural wine. Dr. Quinn also collaborates with local berry farmers, trading past vintages for overripe berries that were previously intended for waste, to be given a second life as co-fermentations in his wines, which add a unique characteristic while still keeping the grape as the star of the show.
