The soils are composed of schists, more or less degraded and can have a percentage of deep clays (combs) or a more stony structure with quartz encrustation (ridges).
The viticulture is organic, the soils are grassed spontaneously or induced (mainly black clover).
Fertilizers and irrigation are prohibited.
The fungal fight during the growing season is carried out under the action of wettable sulfur and copper dioxide, herbal teas complement these products for their various virtues (wormwood, nettle, yarrow, dandelion, horsetail and also whey (goat's milk please!). The movements of the moon, very determining, are precisely observed at these times.
The Valais climate with its high light and low rainfall makes it possible to drastically limit the volume of copper used against mildew (> 1kg/ha per year). All vineyard work is carried out manually, due to the topography, as the slopes can be steep up to 38%!
In addition to a few flagship vintages that stand out in each vintage, new products may emerge depending on the specific nature of the harvest.
