Mas Guineu Vinyaters is a small project born in a great place

We are winegrowers who cultivate wines by reviving ancestral practices. Only with grapes, fermented with their own indigenous yeasts and matured with time and patience, without filters or haste.

The Mas Guineu agricultural estate rises in the Foix River Basin, sheltered by the Font-rubí mountain range, at 400 meters of altitude, on clay soils over limestone rock. Between the Foix headwaters and the Mediterranean, surrounded by forest, halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona. Its altitude and southeast orientation offer a panoramic view of central Penedès and Montserrat.

Mas Guineu is a century-old agricultural project with its own character, where people are transient; it is the estate and the farmhouse that endure. It belongs to no one, yet to everyone at the same time.

Pep and Lorena are the current chapter of this story, leading the estate and the winery. We restored the old winery in 2021, resuming wine production and beginning to bottle the wines of estate. We are Vintners, We are Wine Growers.
