Bar Caviste
Grapes from Grenache vines planted in the 70s.Vincent Ruiz, a young winemaker, has taken over the vineyards previously cared for by the late Dominique Belluard. Vincent was working for Balthazar in the Rhône when Dominque passed in 2020. Before Vincent purchased the estate from Dominque’s wife Valerie, Dominique’s friends Ganevat, Lapalu, & Dodane purchased the fruit. Valerie wasn’t going to sell the estate to just anyone, but someone who would respect and continue the work of Dominique in the same spirit.
