Fun fact: one of the grapes here is indigenous Boal, which is typically used in Madeira (fortified) wines for its sweet profile. Although backstory implies it, not sweet at all! Dried fruits, lemon peel, light herbal bitterness, a faint hazelnut note, mineral undercurrent, and a slightly smoked finish.
