Rielinger

Surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees, our Rielingerhof is located 750 meters above sea level, in the middle of a magnificent landscape, on the Rittner Hochplateau. We transform most of the products of our small farm ourselves and then offer them to our guests. We process grapes from Riesling, Zweigelt, Blatterle, Vernatsch (Schiava), Müller Thurgau, Kerner vines - all vines grow on our own land around the main house of about 3.5 hectares. We have also been a member of Bioland since 2015. The wine is now produced and also certified according to the guidelines of organic farming. The harvest is done by hand. We generally avoid the use of machines as much as possible. Furthermore, we use biodynamic viticulture preparations on our vineyards. Wine has always been grown at the Rielingerhof. The Rielingerhof was producing wine as early as the Middle Ages for the lords of the present Stein ruin. Two "Torggel" stones found on the farm testify to this. One is now on display in the tasting room. Our family grows wine to the third generation. We decided to keep the entire harvest and market it from the farm.The challenge is obviously to obtain a very high quality both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Since 2011 we have been members of the Free Winegrowers of South Tyrol.
