Gustinella Wine - Sonia Gambino

Gustinella is a tiny domain of less than 2 hectares in Maletto, on the northwest slope of Mount Etna, between 1000 and 1200 meters above sea level.

Here, Sonia Gambino works ancient little vineyards mixed with fruit and olive trees, wild herbs and vegetables, preserving local varieties such as Grenache, Grecanico Dorato, and more than fifteen other lesser-known varieties, some still unidentified,  paying attention to the indigenous alberello-trained vines, performing all work manually, without any use of chemicals. In the cellar, cleanliness and almost maniacal attention to detail allow the production of delicate wines, which follow spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts to express the purity of the "big mountain “Etna
